The room on the first floor was incredibly spacious and had a street view, complete with a wardrobe, comfy chair, and balcony. The communal room with a fully-equipped kitchen and washing machine was a major convenience. The shared bathroom, stocked with a hairdryer, was always clean. The host was super friendly, making this a great spot for pilgrims on the Camino route. The hosts from Sicily whipped up mind-blowingly delicious homemade Italian dishes and the price was a steal, including plentiful wine for just €11. The small hostal offered a comfortable stay with a well-maintained shared bathroom. this was a super place to stop off en route, with very nice hosts, clean and comfy rooms, and a friendly atmosphere.

I recently stayed at Casa Rural Irugoienea Guest House for a few nights while hiking the Camino. The hosts were exceptional, picking me up from Roncesvalles and even taking me to the ATM. The room was cozy and clean, with a spotless shared bathroom nearby. The highlight was the delicious homemade Italian dinner, complete with a secret-recipe dessert passed down from the Sicilian grandparents. Additionally, having the whole top floor to ourselves was a bonus, with a spacious living area and fully-equipped kitchenette.
